This is an archive of TechRadar’s November 29, 2024 Black Friday Xbox roundup, not a list of deals available now. Its 23 offers covered consoles, controllers, headsets, storage, games and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Every price below is historical and should not be treated as a current quote. Read the original TechRadar roundup.
What this Xbox Black Friday roundup covers
TechRadar’s Rhys Wood published the roundup on November 29, 2024, grouping 23 offers across six categories. The article said its listed offers should be checked before they ended on December 2, 2024; that was a deadline for that sales event, not a recurring date. The offers below preserve the prices and retailer references as reported at the time, across the US and UK. They do not establish current prices, availability or stock.

The roundup’s author said he owned and regularly used the BlackShark V2 X. That is the author’s personal statement in the original article, not independent testing evidence.
Xbox storage

| WD Black P40 (1TB) | $99.99 at Amazon; previously listed at $139.99 | $179.99 at Best Buy |
Expansion card or external drive?
The roundup distinguished the Seagate Xbox Storage Expansion Card from the WD Black P40 external drive. It said Series X|S games could be stored on the P40 but not run from it, while Xbox One games could be stored and played from that drive. This describes the roundup’s 2024 guidance; it is not a fresh compatibility check.

How to use these historical prices
- Use the list as a record of what the 2024 roundup reported, not as a buying guide with live offers.
- Before making a purchase, check the retailer’s current price, stock, exact model and capacity, and whether the listing is for the correct region.
- For game listings, confirm the edition and format, especially where a digital code or bonus content is specified.
- For storage, verify current Xbox compatibility and whether the drive can run a particular game, rather than relying on an old offer description.
