In Pokémon Pokopia, Mystery Gifts are accessed from the PC at a Pokémon Center after approximately 30 minutes of play. Choose Get Items > Mystery Gifts, then select Get via Internet for an online offer or Get with Code/Password to enter a code. Nintendo says the game saves automatically after a gift is received.
Where to find Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Pokopia
Start the game and press A on the title screen. Once in your town, go to the Pokémon Center and interact with its PC. Select Get Items, then Mystery Gifts.
The feature is not available immediately: Nintendo Support says it takes approximately 30 minutes of play time before you can access Mystery Gift at the PC. The wording is approximate, not a guaranteed exact timer. Nintendo Support’s instructions give the full menu path.
How to redeem an internet gift or code
Claim a gift listed online
- At the Pokémon Center PC, select Get Items > Mystery Gifts.
- Choose Get via Internet and connect to the internet.
- Select an available gift and follow the on-screen prompts.
Enter a code or password
- At the same Mystery Gifts menu, choose Get with Code/Password.
- Connect to the internet and enter the code or password.
- Follow the confirmation prompts and select the gift to receive it.
Nintendo says the game automatically saves after a gift arrives, so do not close the game before the delivery and confirmation finish. The official Pokémon Pokopia gift instructions also describe the code route and confirmation steps.

Do you need Nintendo Switch Online?
No Nintendo Switch Online paid membership is required for the documented Ditto Rug bonus. You do need an internet connection, and the console user profile must be linked to a Nintendo Account to connect online. Those are separate requirements: basic online access and account linking are not the same as a Switch Online subscription. Nintendo’s Canadian game listing and launch announcement specify the bonus requirements.
Which Pokémon Pokopia Mystery Gift is confirmed, and when does it expire?
Nintendo of Canada’s official listing documents an in-game Ditto Rug as an early-purchase bonus. It is claimed through Get via Internet and may be redeemed once, through Sunday, January 31, 2027. The listing says the bonus can be received with either the digital edition or the game-key card edition.

The reward’s location depends on its type. Furniture and items go into Ditto’s bag; recipe materials can be checked at the workbench and in the main-menu collection; and life coins can be checked at the Pokémon Center PC. Use Check Gifts at the PC to view received-gift history, as described in the official Pokémon Pokopia instructions.
