The original North American prices were $59.99 for the digital Standard Edition and $69.99 for digital Deluxe; the first PC physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions were announced at $169 and $399, respectively. Those PC boxes contained activation codes, not discs. A PS5 disc edition arrived later with a code for the Digital Deluxe extras.
What did the preorder bonus include?
The preorder bonus was the Scarlet Gourd. Game Science described it as a bonus that players could also obtain through regular in-game activities, so it was not a permanently preorder-exclusive item. Game Science’s official FAQ explains the item’s availability.

Do the original PC physical editions include a disc?
No. Game Science said the PC physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions included a Digital Deluxe activation code. JD.com purchases in China used WeGame codes; overseas purchases used Steam codes. The studio said limited offline resources for importing, exporting, transport, distribution, and sales made it difficult to release physical discs alongside the game’s original launch. Game Science’s official FAQ gives those format details.

- Want a boxed PS5 copy? Look for the later PS5 disc edition and confirm the seller’s region and included extras before buying.
- Considering a Collector’s Edition? Treat $399 as its historical announced PC MSRP, not a current market price; confirm the platform, included items, code region, seller, and live availability.
- Only interested in the Scarlet Gourd? You do not need a preorder to obtain it; Game Science said it is also available through regular in-game activities.
