Has Game Science confirmed 30 million sales?
No. A June 18, 2026, report by Gamereactor characterized the 30-million figure as reported and noted that the studio had not directly confirmed it. In response to an inquiry about the figure, Game Science reportedly told Eurogamer it had no new sales numbers to share beyond its previously announced launch milestone. That response does not confirm the newer figure.
“At this time, we don’t have any new sales figures to share beyond our previously announced milestone of over 10m copies sold across all platforms within four days of launch.”

What the 30-million report does—and does not—establish
- It establishes that Xinhua Research Institute reported worldwide sales above 30 million as of its June 15, 2026, report.
- It does not establish an exact total beyond “more than 30 million,” a platform-by-platform breakdown, or a direct confirmation from Game Science.
- It should not be confused with concurrent players or revenue: the figure concerns copies sold.
