In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, launcher camos progress through nine Military camos, two weapon-specific Special camos, and four Mastery tiers for each mode. The CIGMA 2B locks onto targets; the HE-1 is a free-fire launcher. A third-party guide reports their Multiplayer Special Camo requirements, but not a complete current challenge list for every launcher and mode—check the tracked requirements in the game before starting a long grind.
How launcher camo progression works
Activision’s October 21, 2024 progression guide describes three stages for each weapon:

- Military camos: Earn nine in sequence. Activision says weapon leveling is not required to access camo challenges.
- Special camos: Complete the Military set to open two unique Special camos for that weapon. You can earn the two in either order. Once unlocked, a Special camo can be used on another weapon that has opened its Special category.
- Mastery camos: Complete the weapon’s mode-specific challenges to earn that mode’s four Mastery camos. Progress and unlocks are individual to each weapon.
The criteria differ by mode: Multiplayer Military camos use headshots, Zombies uses critical kills, and Warzone uses eliminations. The Mastery names also differ by mode:

| Zombies | Mystic Gold, Opal, Afterlife, Nebula |
| Warzone | Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, Catalyst, Abyss |
The number of other weapons required to open later Mastery tiers can change as weapons are added. Check the current in-game Camo Hub rather than relying on launch-era weapon-count examples.
#1 Best Overall

Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
What is different about the CIGMA 2B and HE-1?
The launch roster includes two launchers. Activision describes the CIGMA 2B as lock-on capable against enemy Scorestreaks and vehicles, while the HE-1 is a free-fire launcher. That difference matters when choosing how to approach destruction challenges: the launch article does not describe the HE-1 as having the CIGMA’s lock-on function. See Activision’s launch weapons guide for those weapon descriptions.
The official launch article spells the name CIGMA 2B; a later Dot Esports guide spells it CIGMA 28. These references concern the same launcher, not two separate weapons. Check the name shown in your game’s current UI. The launch article listed the CIGMA 2B as immediately available and the HE-1 as a level 19 unlock at launch; those are launch-era details, so verify current availability in-game.

Reported Multiplayer Special Camo requirements
Dot Esports’ Multiplayer camo guide, updated for Season 5, reports the following Special Camo requirements. They are third-party reported requirements, not a complete official list for every mode or camo tier.
| Launcher | Special camo | Reported requirement |
|---|---|---|
| CIGMA 2B (called “CIGMA 28” in the guide) | Policia | Get 15 direct-hit kills. |
| CIGMA 2B (called “CIGMA 28” in the guide) | Abstract | Destroy 10 aerial Scorestreaks. |
| HE-1 | Reboot | Get 10 direct-hit kills. |
| HE-1 | Dreamer | Destroy 10 Scorestreaks or enemy Equipment. |
For the live requirement, open the launcher’s camo track in the Camo Hub and read the challenge displayed for the specific weapon and tier. These reported Special Camo conditions should not be treated as Military or Mastery requirements, or as requirements for Zombies and Warzone.

- Kampania Black Ops 6 oferuje dynamiczną rozgrywkę z różnymi obszarami gry z pięknym tłem, intensywą akcją i fantastycznymi aktywnościami szpiegowskimi
- In the top-class multiplayer gameplay, players can check their skills on 16 new maps at the time of release, including 12 standard 6 on 6 and 4 battle maps that can be played in 2 on 2 or 6 out of 7
- Black Ops 6 also means the epic return of your fan-favorite Zombies mode
Do enemy Equipment and Field Upgrades count for launcher challenges?
Activision’s Season 01 patch notes say that launcher Gold and Dark Spine challenges began awarding progress in one match for destroying enemy Equipment and Field Upgrades, in addition to enemy Scorestreaks. This corrects older advice that focuses only on Scorestreaks for those destruction challenges. The patch note does not confirm that every later challenge’s wording or tracking behavior stayed the same, so use the current tracked challenge as the authority.

The reported list above covers four Multiplayer Special Camo requirements. It does not establish the complete current Military and Mastery challenges for both launchers across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Activision’s progression guide establishes the overall sequence and the mode-specific progression framework, but not a complete current launcher-by-launcher challenge table. For any requirement not shown above, use the exact current challenge text in-game rather than assuming that a condition carries over between launchers, tiers, or modes.
