When did the Black Ops 6 Squid Game event start and end?
Activision’s January 2, 2025 announcement set the event window from January 3 at 10 a.m. PT to January 24 at 10 a.m. PT. The collaboration marked the release of Squid Game Season 2 on Netflix. Those dates have passed; the announcement does not establish that the event or its content will return.
What did the Event Pass include?
Players progressed through the Event Pass by earning XP in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. The event offered a Free Track and an optional Premium Track. Activision priced the Premium Track at 1,100 COD Points.

Activision Support’s Event Pass guide, published January 28, 2025, describes the general system: XP from normal gameplay unlocks tiers, and the Free Track is available to all players. It also lists a Buy Reward option for 150 COD Points to unlock the next available tier. That is a published Event Pass mechanic, not evidence that the expired Squid Game pass can still be purchased or progressed.

Which limited-time modes were part of the event?
The collaboration added themed limited-time content across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Activision’s Blizzard News announcement described these modes and mechanics:

Were Squid Game bundles available?
Activision named three themed Store Bundles during the event: Squid Game 2: Pink Guards Tracer Pack, Squid Game 2: The VIPs Tracer Pack, and Squid Game 2: Young-hee Tracer Pack. They included operator skins, weapon blueprints, finishing moves, and other cosmetics. The announcement confirms they were offered during the event, but does not establish whether they remain in the Store or will return in a later rotation.

Is Black Ops 6 separate from the event dates?
Yes. Black Ops 6 released on October 25, 2024, independently of the January 2025 collaboration. Activision’s official game page lists PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Microsoft PC Store, Steam, Battle.net, and Game Pass among the platforms. Buying the base game now does not restore access to the expired event.
