Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched with 33 armaments: 25 primary weapons, six secondary weapons and two melee weapons. The launch roster includes 12 weapons new to the franchise. Call of Duty’s October 18, 2024 launch announcement says one weapon from each type or class was available immediately in Default Loadouts. The other weapons on the launch roster were unlocked through Player Progression at the levels listed above. Those levels describe the launch roster and should not be read as a guide to weapons introduced in subsequent updates.
What the launch count includes
The 33-armament total breaks down into 25 primary weapons—seven assault rifles, six SMGs, two shotguns, three LMGs, four marksman rifles and three sniper rifles—plus four pistols, two launchers and two melee weapons. Call of Duty’s launch announcement says the roster includes 12 weapons new to the franchise. It covers Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone, but is a dated launch inventory rather than a current, post-update catalogue.
