Black Ops 7 beta countdown and end date
There is no live countdown to display. The beta’s originally announced schedule listed Early Access for October 2–5, 2025, and the Open Beta for October 5–8. Xbox Wire later noted that the event was extended through 9 a.m. PT on Thursday, October 9. Xbox Wire’s beta guide records the extension; the original schedule appears in the official Blizzard announcement.

When the beta started

Activision and Blizzard described each phase as lasting 72 hours in the original schedule. The later extension moved the beta’s actual end to October 9 at 9 a.m. PT.
How Early Access worked in 2025
Early Access was available to players who had pre-purchased the game and subscribers on eligible Game Pass plans. Digital pre-purchases were automatically registered, so those players did not need a beta code. Physical preorder redemption could involve registration or code steps; the official pre-purchase benefits guide covers those historical access details.

Those routes applied only while the beta was running. A preorder, Game Pass subscription, code, or beta client cannot reopen the concluded event.
Could you join without Early Access?
Yes, during the event: the Open Beta was free to all players on all platforms from its scheduled October 5 start. That window is now closed. Internet access was required to participate, according to the official announcement.

What the beta included
During the event, players could try multiplayer maps and modes, earn progression rewards, and play Zombies Survival on Vandorn Farm, which became available October 3. These were beta-period features; their availability in the ended beta does not indicate current access. Details were published in the Call of Duty beta guide and Xbox Wire’s guide.

The beta cannot be entered now. The full game released November 14, 2025, according to the Xbox Wire article; buying the full game is a separate way to play and does not unlock the beta.
