Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Preseason Patch Notes, published November 26, 2025, collect updates released from November 14 through November 26, plus a separate launch-patch section. They cover Global systems, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Co-op Campaign/Endgame, mixing bug fixes and stability work with progression and balance tuning. The figures below are historical patch values, not a guide to the game’s October 2026 tuning.
What the preseason notes cover
The official page is a dated record rather than one single update: it groups entries by release date and includes a separate launch-patch section. The November 26 entry includes Global challenge-card and Prestige menu fixes, a Multiplayer After-Action Report placeholder correction, and Zombies Crafting Table crash and HUD fixes. Treyarch added disconnect protection for Endgame. The studio said the game takes a snapshot of a player’s Combat Rating at the start of a match; if the player disconnects, they can begin their next match at that prior rating.

This entry contains notable aim-assist and weapon tuning. Treyarch said launch aim-assist tuning had overshot the balance target and that it was making “a small tuning adjustment to the minimum Rotational Aim Assist.” The minimum Rotational Aim Assist penalty was reduced from 35% to 25%. This is the November 21 patch value, not a claim about the setting in later updates.
The same dated pass targeted the versatility of high-performing assault rifles and aimed to improve mid-range submachine-gun performance. The official notes contain extensive weapon and attachment tables; consult the table for the exact weapon, attachment, and before-and-after values rather than applying a general change to every rifle or SMG.

Launch-patch progression changes
In the launch notes, Treyarch described weapon maximum-level progression as roughly 25% faster than in Black Ops 6. The notes also raised Daily Challenge Bonus XP from 3,000 XP to 5,000 XP. These are launch-note comparisons and values, not confirmation of October 2026 progression rates.

Find the date first, then check the mode or system named in the entry. For tuning, distinguish an adjustment to a specific weapon, attachment, or aim-assist setting from a broad change to a whole category. Where the notes provide before-and-after values, retain the patch date with those numbers; subsequent seasonal updates mean the preseason record alone cannot establish current tuning.
