Black Ops 7 Season 2 began on February 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. It is a past release, not an upcoming season. Ranked Play arrived at launch, while five additional Multiplayer maps and other content followed with Season 02 Reloaded on March 11, 2026.
When did Black Ops 7 Season 2 start?
Season 02 launched Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT across platforms, according to the official Season 02 announcement. The announcement gives the time in Pacific Time; it does not provide a universal UTC conversion or a full region-by-region schedule.

When did Ranked Play arrive, and how did access work?
Ranked Play launched with Season 02 as a 4v4 competitive mode based on the Call of Duty League ruleset. Players first had to earn 50 wins in matchmade Multiplayer to unlock access. Wins in Party Game and Limited Time Modes did not count toward that threshold. Once in Ranked, players had to win three placement matches to receive a starting Rank.
Ranked wins awarded Skill Rating (SR) based on individual performance, opponents’ skill, and the team’s margin of victory; losses deducted SR. The launch announcement said the mode used CDL settings, maps, modes, and loadout restrictions, subject to its stated restrictions and player agreements.

Ranked Play launch maps and modes
The launch pool contained six maps and three modes. The official announcement’s detailed map-by-mode listing did not put every map into every mode.

PC security requirements
On PC, the announcement said Ranked Play required Remote Attestation in partnership with Microsoft, in addition to TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. These are Ranked access requirements, not the general Season 2 release schedule.
Which Multiplayer maps came with Season 2?
The season’s general Multiplayer roadmap was broader than Ranked Play’s launch pool. Four maps were listed for the February 5 launch, followed by five maps in the mid-season update.

The Reloaded lineup and map descriptions were listed in the publisher’s Season 02 Reloaded announcement. Those mid-season additions should not be confused with the six-map Ranked Play pool announced at launch.
What did Season 02 Reloaded add?
Season 02 Reloaded went live March 11, 2026. Alongside its five Multiplayer maps, the update brought Gauntlet, where two teams of six cycle through five modes, and the return of Infected. Its Zombies content included Paradox Junction, a new Round-Based Zombies map, with a main quest and other features. The publisher’s Reloaded announcement details the update; the Season 02 page also identifies Paradox Junction.

Are these still the live Ranked Play maps and rules?
No conclusion about the live rotation in October 2026 follows from the launch announcement. The six maps and three modes above describe the published Season 2 launch pool; Ranked maps, playlists, and seasonal rules can change over time.
