To host a Bleach Evolved server, run the pack’s dedicated Forge server files for Minecraft Java 1.12.2, keep the server and every player on the identical pack release and Forge loader, and use the project’s SERVER PACK artifact whenever one is available. The current CurseForge release is Bleach Evolved 3.3.2, uploaded September 10, 2026.
Running a modpack with friends? Godlike.Host offers modded Minecraft server hosting with one-click modpacks (CurseForge, FTB, Technic) and free DDoS protection.
Download the matching server package, extract it into a clean directory, launch it once to generate files, accept the EULA, relaunch, and then give players the address and port shown by the server. Players must install the same 3.3.2 profile and loader in CurseForge or GDLauncher. A first launch that exits unexpectedly is documented behavior for this project; relaunch once before changing versions.

Bleach Evolved server requirements and compatibility
Bleach Evolved is a Forge modpack for Minecraft Java Edition 1.12.2, centered on KD’s Bleach mod. A working server is not just a vanilla 1.12.2 installation with a few copied mods. The loader, mod files, configuration files and pack release must line up across the server and all clients.
| Item | Value to use | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Game edition | Minecraft Java Edition | Bedrock clients cannot join a Java Forge server. |
| Minecraft version | 1.12.2 | Do not combine files from another Minecraft version. |
| Mod loader | Forge | The exact Forge build should match the release or server-pack instructions. |
| Current pack release | Bleach Evolved 3.3.2 | This is the latest release listed on the CurseForge files page at the October 15, 2026 research date; it was uploaded September 10, 2026. |
| Server files | Project server-pack artifact, when listed | The files page includes “Server Prep” releases and a dedicated “SERVER PACK” artifact. |
Use 3.3.2 only if that is the release you install on every machine. If the project publishes a newer version, select that single release for the server and all players instead of mixing versions. A client profile that appears to be the right pack can still fail if its Forge loader differs from the server’s loader.

What to download before creating the server
- Matching Bleach Evolved release: Download the same release number for the server and clients. For this guide, that is 3.3.2.
- Dedicated server package: Prefer the matching SERVER PACK artifact. If the files page presents a “Server Prep” release or a README that specifies a particular server archive, follow that release rather than rebuilding the pack manually.
- Forge files: Use the Forge server files included in, or specified by, the selected server pack.
- A clean directory: Create a new folder used only for this Bleach Evolved instance. Keeping it separate prevents old worlds, mods and configurations from contaminating the installation.
- Java and memory settings: Follow the selected pack’s README or start script. The project pages do not publish a reliable current Java major-version requirement or RAM minimum, so do not copy a number from an unrelated pack.
Back up any existing world before experimenting with a different release. Pack changes can alter mod data, and a world opened by a newer or different configuration may not safely return to the old state.
Self-hosting: complete setup procedure
1. Select one exact release
Open the Bleach Evolved files list and choose the release you intend to run. The current listed release is 3.3.2. Check that a server-pack download belongs to that same release. Record the Minecraft version and Forge build from the release notes, archive name or included README; these are the values your clients must reproduce.
2. Create a dedicated server folder
Make an empty directory with a descriptive name such as bleach-evolved-3.3.2-server. Do not extract the archive into an existing vanilla server folder or into another Bleach Evolved installation. A clean directory makes it possible to identify which files belong to this release and simplifies rollback.
3. Extract the server pack
Extract the complete server-pack archive into the new directory, preserving its folder structure. Do not omit the mods, config, scripts, libraries or Forge files. If the archive contains a README or start script, read it before launching: it may specify the Java executable, memory flags, working directory or a required launch command.

If no dedicated server archive is listed for your chosen release, use only the project’s documented Server Prep files and instructions. Do not assume that copying the client’s entire profile creates a valid server; client-only files can cause loader errors or a crash.
4. Run the Forge server once
Start the included Forge server command or the pack’s supplied script from inside the server directory. The first run normally creates the world, configuration files and eula.txt. The Bleach Evolved project owner Gremter gives this explicit warning on the project page: “FIRST LAUNCH TENDS TO CRASH, RELAUNCH FOR IT TO WORK CORRECTLY.” If the initial process exits, relaunch it once before changing the pack or Forge version.
5. Accept the Minecraft EULA
After the initial run creates eula.txt, open that file and change the EULA setting to acceptance as required by Minecraft. Save the file without changing unrelated lines, then start the same Forge command again. If no EULA file appears, inspect the console output and confirm that you launched from the extracted server directory rather than a parent folder.
6. Let the second start finish
Allow Forge and the mods to complete initialization. The first successful start can take longer than a vanilla server because it builds configuration and mod data. Keep the console visible until it reports that the server is listening or otherwise ready for connections. Stop it cleanly from the console before editing files or moving the directory.

7. Record the address and port
Read the server log and console for the listening port. The researched project pages do not establish a universal default port for this pack, so use the value shown by your installation and host configuration rather than assuming one. Players on the same local network usually connect through the host computer’s local address. Players outside that network need the server port forwarded through the router and allowed through the operating system firewall.
8. Test locally before inviting others
Install the matching client profile on the host computer or another machine on the same network. Connect using the local address and the port recorded from the server. A local test separates mod or loader problems from router and firewall problems. If the local connection works but an outside player cannot join, investigate port forwarding, firewall rules and the address you gave them instead of replacing the modpack.

CurseForge installation
- Install the CurseForge launcher and open the Minecraft section.
- Find the Bleach Evolved project and install release 3.3.2, or the exact release selected for the server.
- Open the profile’s options and verify that Minecraft is 1.12.2 and the loader is Forge. CurseForge support documents changing a profile to a required Forge or Fabric version through Profile Options; use that control if the launcher selected the wrong loader.
- Launch once so the profile creates its local files, then close the game before connecting to the server.
GDLauncher installation
GDLauncher documents quick installation with the ID #bleach-evolved. Use that quick-install entry, select the same pack release as the server, and confirm that the resulting instance uses Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. If the launcher offers several versions, match the server’s release number rather than choosing the newest option automatically.
What every player must match
- Bleach Evolved release number, including the precise patch version.
- Minecraft 1.12.2.
- Forge loader and build required by that release.
- The pack’s enabled mods and configuration files.
A player does not need the server’s world folder, but does need the same client-side pack profile. Give each player the server address and port only after they have completed the matching installation.

“Missing mods” or a mismatched protocol
Compare the client and server in this order:
- Confirm that both use Bleach Evolved 3.3.2, not merely a similarly named profile.
- Confirm Minecraft is 1.12.2 on both sides.
- Confirm Forge is the same required build, not a different Forge release chosen automatically by a launcher.
- Compare the contents of the server’s
modsdirectory with the client profile’s enabled mods. - Read the server log and the client log for the first missing or incompatible mod named; the final disconnect message may only describe the consequence.
Do not solve a mismatch by deleting random mods from the server. That can create a second incompatibility and may invalidate the world. Reinstall the exact profile or server artifact when files have been altered.
The server closes during startup
Use the project’s documented first-run behavior first: relaunch once. If it continues, inspect the complete console and log for a Forge loader error, missing library, wrong Java executable, damaged archive or insufficient allocated memory. Then verify that the server was launched from its own directory and that no files from another Minecraft version are present.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe server starts but nobody can reach it
- Same network: Test the host’s local IP address and the port shown in the log.
- Different network: Forward that port to the server computer, allow it through the firewall and give players the reachable address, not the private local address.
- Hosted machine: Use the provider’s panel to identify the assigned address and port; do not assume the value used by a home installation.
- Intermittent access: Check whether the server process is still running and whether the host’s public address changed.
The exact port and firewall procedure depend on the network and host, and the project pages do not publish one universal rule for every installation.
A world will not load after changing releases
Stop the server and restore the last known-good world backup. Compare the old and new pack release, Minecraft version, Forge build and changelog before attempting migration. WinterNode notes that major pack-version jumps can change mod data; treat a release change as a world migration, not as a routine client update. Test a copy of the world first and keep the original untouched.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Self-hosting versus managed hosting
Self-hosting gives you direct access to the server directory, configuration and backups, but you are responsible for Java, updates, firewall rules, port forwarding, uptime and recovery. Managed hosting can remove much of that network administration. BoxToPlay advertises one-click Bleach Evolved deployment during server setup, while WinterNode markets a Bleach Evolved 1.12.2 Forge option. Those are commercial services, so check the actual panel and terms before committing.
| Decision factor | Self-hosted server | Managed host |
|---|---|---|
| Control over files and configs | Full control of the extracted server directory and local backups. | Depends on panel permissions, file manager access and provider policy. |
| Setup time | Requires downloading, extraction, first launch, EULA, networking and testing. | One-click deployment may shorten installation, but the selected release still needs verification. |
| Exact-version updates and rollback | You choose when to replace files and can keep separate release directories. | Use the provider’s version selector and backup tools; confirm that the exact 3.3.2 build is available. |
| Backups and support | You must schedule and store backups and troubleshoot logs yourself. | Check whether backups, restore points and modpack support are included. |
| Network administration | You handle firewall rules, port forwarding and public addressing. | The provider supplies an address and port, reducing home-network work. |
| Recurring cost | No hosting subscription, but you provide hardware, power and internet capacity. | Monthly pricing varies; verify the current price, location and renewal terms before purchase. |
For either option, verify the selected Bleach Evolved release, Minecraft 1.12.2 support, Forge support, Java compatibility, player-slot limits, backup policy, server location and customer support. No fixed hosting price or universal Java requirement is established for this pack.
Updating without breaking the world
Before an update
- Stop the server cleanly.
- Copy the entire world directory and the server’s configuration files to a separate backup location.
- Write down the current pack release, Forge build and server address settings.
- Read the new release notes and confirm that a matching server-pack artifact exists.
Install the new release separately
Extract the new server pack into a new directory instead of overwriting the working installation. Start it with a test copy of the world, allow configuration generation to finish, and check the log for missing mods or data-conversion messages. Keep the old directory available until players have joined successfully and the new world behaves as expected.
Coordinate the client switch
Have every player install the same new profile and Forge loader before the server is opened to the group. A server update with old clients, or client updates made before the server is ready, produces avoidable mismatch errors. If the migration fails, stop the new instance and return to the backed-up old directory rather than repeatedly opening the original world.
What new players should do after joining
The pack’s progression begins with a choice among four factions: Shinigami, Hollow, Quincy and Fullbringer. The project description tells new players to craft a Shinai, press B to view stats, obtain the guidebook and use it to choose and progress through a faction.
- Shinigami: The named progression includes Shikai and Bankai.
- Hollow: The progression includes Arrancar evolution and Ceros.
- Quincy: The named path includes Letzt Stil.
- Fullbringer: The description highlights buffs as the progression focus.
Hollows begin appearing after a player reaches 30 base SP, according to the Bleach Evolved project description. That is a gameplay threshold, not a server configuration requirement, so changing Forge or networking settings will not alter it.
