Welcome to Bloxburg became free to play on June 15, 2024. Before that change, players paid an access fee to join; contemporaneous reporting put it at 25 Robux. Coffee Stain’s official investor presentation also records the removal of the paywall as a 2024 milestone.
When did Bloxburg become free?
Welcome to Bloxburg went free on June 15, 2024, according to contemporaneous coverage from Pro Game Guides. Coffee Stain’s official investor presentation independently confirms that the paywall was lifted in 2024, though it does not specify the day.
Pro Game Guides reported that access had previously cost 25 Robux. That figure comes from the outlet’s reporting, not from Coffee Stain’s year-level milestone.
What changed for players?
The change removed the access fee for joining the Roblox experience. Players who had not paid for access could then enter without that former upfront charge. It was a change to access for a digital game, not the release of a physical product.
