What makes Blue Prince different?
The game takes place at Mt. Holly, a manor whose rooms shift as you explore. At each closed door, you choose which room lies beyond it, using items you find to make progress toward the rumored Room 46. Nintendo describes the experience as a blend of mystery, strategy and puzzles.
The manor’s layout resets each day, making room selection a fresh set of choices on a new run. Nintendo’s product description also says permanent upgrades can persist between resets. The story weaves in blackmail, political intrigue and the disappearance of a local children’s book author. The showcase announcement specifically notes Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for navigating the manor.
