The Necrofluid Gauntlet is awarded at Dravakar’s anvil in the Rex Infernus side easter egg. Reach the forest, collect all three Wonder Weapon parts, open Dravakar’s inner sanctum, then sacrifice Pack-a-Punch level 1 weapons representing every standard weapon type. The anvil accepts only one weapon type per round. Once the final type is accepted, Dravakar leaves a Pack-a-Punch level 1 Necrofluid Gauntlet on the anvil.
What you need before visiting the anvil
This sequence is not available immediately. Advance the Rex Infernus quest until you can enter the forest and retrieve its three Wonder Weapon parts. The forest collection comes before the return to Dravakar’s Sanctuary in the quest route described by current guides.

- Reach the forest area in the Rex Infernus quest.
- Collect all three Wonder Weapon parts.
- Open Dravakar’s inner sanctum.
- Bring Pack-a-Punch level 1 weapons covering every standard weapon type.
- Have enough time and ammunition to remain in the area across several rounds.
The exact weapon-type checklist and whether special weapons are excluded come from a community discovery report rather than an official developer guide, so treat those details as provisional if a patch changes the interaction.

1. Collect the three forest parts
Follow the Rex Infernus quest until the forest opens. Search the required locations there and pick up all three Wonder Weapon parts before attempting the anvil step. Returning to Dravakar’s Sanctuary without completing this collection can leave the side easter egg unavailable.

2. Enter Dravakar’s inner sanctum
With the forest objective complete, open the route into Dravakar’s inner sanctum. The relevant interaction is the anvil inside this area, not a general crafting station elsewhere on the map.
3. Prepare one Pack-a-Punch level 1 weapon for each standard type
Every weapon you intend to sacrifice must be at least Pack-a-Punch level 1 according to the discovery instructions. Organize your loadout and reserve weapons so that you can present each standard weapon type separately. The report does not establish a universally verified list in the available evidence, so do not assume a special weapon will substitute for a standard category.

4. Sacrifice one type at the anvil
Interact with Dravakar’s anvil while holding the prepared weapon. Place one weapon type only, then finish the round. The sequence is round-gated: the discovery report says the anvil accepts one sacrifice per round, so attempting to feed several categories during the same round will not accelerate the quest.
5. Repeat on later rounds
At the start of each subsequent round, return to the anvil with another Pack-a-Punch level 1 weapon representing an unaccepted standard type. Continue until every required type has registered. If the interaction does not trigger, verify the weapon’s Pack-a-Punch level and category before spending another round.

6. Claim the reward
After you place the final required weapon type, Dravakar rewards the quest by placing a Pack-a-Punch level 1 Necrofluid Gauntlet on the anvil. Pick it up directly from that location.
Requirements at a glance
| Requirement | What the available evidence establishes |
|---|---|
| Quest progress | Reach the forest, collect three Wonder Weapon parts, and open Dravakar’s inner sanctum. |
| Sacrifice quality | Each sacrificed weapon must be Pack-a-Punch level 1 or higher. |
| Weapon coverage | Use weapons representing every standard weapon type; the precise list is not established in the available report. |
| Timing | Only one weapon type can be sacrificed per round. |
| Reward | A Pack-a-Punch level 1 Necrofluid Gauntlet appears on the anvil after the final accepted type. |
| Special weapons | The discovery report suggests they may not count, but this remains unconfirmed and could change with an update. |
What the gauntlet does
The Necrofluid Gauntlet is required for a later Ashes of the Damned objective. Its projectile can shoot and absorb three keys, after which you transport those keys to a triangular rock. The gauntlet’s ammunition replenishes automatically when you reload, so reloading is the expected way to restore its shots during that sequence.

Troubleshooting a failed sacrifice
The anvil does not accept the weapon
- Confirm the weapon is Pack-a-Punch level 1 or higher.
- Check that it represents a standard weapon type rather than a special weapon.
- Make sure that type has not already been accepted in an earlier round.
- Wait for the next round if you have already completed a sacrifice during the current one.
The reward does not appear
Recheck your progression: all three forest parts must be collected, the inner sanctum must be open, and every required standard type must have registered. Because the exact category list is community-reported, an apparently complete run may still be missing a type that the game treats separately.
How certain is this method?
The deterministic sequence is documented by a contemporaneous community discovery report, while the forest-part prerequisite and broader Rex Infernus quest order are also described by independent game-guide coverage. There is no official Activision or Treyarch guide confirming the exact category list or the special-weapon exclusion in the available evidence. Treat those two details as subject to confirmation and patch changes, but once the prerequisites and accepted categories are satisfied, the reward is presented as a guaranteed anvil spawn rather than a random drop.
Best Value
- An all-new Call of Duty - Black Ops storyline featuring new characters and returning characters
- Unique single-player campaign that contains two time periods linked by characters and their actions
- Special Strike Force missions, in which the players action affect the outcome of gameplay and the overall campaign
- Variety of multiplayer modes and play options
Does it work in solo play?
The available instructions do not impose a multiplayer requirement. They describe a round-based anvil interaction, so a solo player can follow the same sequence, provided they can protect the area while preparing Pack-a-Punch weapons and waiting between sacrifices. No separate solo reward or reduced requirement is established.
