Director’s Cut is downloadable content, not a physical disc. The official 2K listing presents it as an add-on that requires Borderlands 3 and says it is included in Season Pass 2. Xbox Wire’s April 2021 launch article described it as available separately or through Season Pass 2 and Ultimate Edition, with the base game required. Storefront wording can vary by platform and region: Nintendo UK’s Switch listing names Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition as the required game.

After confirming access and installing the add-on, look for Director’s Cut activities in your installed game. The official pages cited here do not establish the exact menu, Sanctuary interaction, mission marker, or campaign milestone that triggers each activity. Check the game’s current prompts rather than following a click-by-click route for another DLC.
