To send loot to your Bank without travelling to a bank location, open your Backpack, mark each item for the Bank, then hold Left Stick on Xbox or PS5—or V on PC—when the send-to-bank prompt appears. Follow the on-screen prompt if your active input device shows a different control.
Send items to the Bank from your inventory

Open your Backpack from the inventory screen.

Highlight an item and apply the Bank tag or filter. To transfer several items at once, mark each one you want to send.

Use the inventory screen’s send-to-bank prompt. Hold Left Stick on Xbox or PS5, or hold V on PC. The prompt may be shown as L3, LS or V depending on the guide and input device, so use the control displayed in your game.
This sends the marked items to storage remotely; you do not need to visit a bank to deposit them. The steps and controls are described by Game8 and GamesRadar+.

Retrieve stored items at an in-game Bank
The inventory shortcut is for sending items to storage. To retrieve something you have stored, visit an in-game Bank, as GamesRadar+ explains.

Make sure you are in Backpack/inventory and have marked the item for the Bank.

Check the prompt shown on screen for the control associated with your current input device.

Gearbox’s December 11, 2025 major update notes say it corrected some cases that prevented the send-to-bank prompt from appearing or functioning in Inventory. That note records a fix for those cases; it does not establish that every current platform build is free of prompt issues.
