A Nerd’s Chalk guide updated September 22, 2025, says the enhancement slot unlocks at level 15 or higher and describes the item as rare loot from bosses, elite enemies, and red chests. How to make the most of Hero of Bullet

1. Check the weapon parts. Confirm the gun has Vladof parts before expecting the listed manufacturer-specific effects.
2. Use it with a sustained-fire build. The extra-projectile chance and fire-rate bonus are a natural fit for builds that keep firing. Nerd’s Chalk also recommends high-fire-rate or already multi-projectile weapons; that is synergy advice, not a measured damage comparison.
3. Plan around ammunition. Faster fire and additional projectiles can make ammo use more important. The magazine-size bonus helps compatible guns hold more rounds between reloads, but does not remove the need to manage reserves.
4. Compare it with your build’s priorities. Compatibility, sustained projectile output, ammo needs, and the value of burst damage or survivability are useful decision factors. Available sources do not establish that Hero of Bullet is universally best or provide controlled comparisons against other enhancements.

Update note on extra-shot stacking
