Mimicron is at the end of the Tipping Point Order Bunker in the Fadefields. Guides associate him with three Legendary items: the Complex Root sniper rifle, Luty Madlad SMG, and UAV grenade ordnance. Those are reported drops, not guaranteed rewards, and no current drop-rate figures are established.
Where to find Mimicron
Mimicron is the boss at the end of the Tipping Point Order Bunker in the Fadefields. Mobalytics places the bunker in Idolator’s Noose; PC Gamer describes it as southeast of Idolator’s Noose. These are guide-reported location descriptions, and the area wording may differ between map labels and guides.

To reach the encounter, PC Gamer’s route is to face the bunker entrance from the stairs, then go left to the northwest corner. Enter the large vent with the broken fan, climb into the small room, collect the bio canister, and drop through the opening in the floor. Throw the canister at the door, then fight through the Order troops to reach Mimicron. This route comes from a guide published in September 2025 and may not reflect later game updates. PC Gamer’s Complex Root guide has the route details.
What Mimicron drops
Mobalytics reports three Legendary items in Mimicron’s loot pool. The descriptions below are the guide’s brief item summaries, not a guarantee that a kill will award any particular item. Mobalytics’ Mimicron guide lists these associations.

How to beat Mimicron
Mobalytics describes Mimicron as a melee-focused Order boss who can cloak, create a clone, leap, and spin. Keep space between you and him, watch for attack cues, and avoid letting the arena’s layout trap you during his spin.

Track the cloak and deal with the clone
- Look for Mimicron’s visible shimmer while he is cloaked; area damage can also help you locate or hit him.
- When a clone appears, target it promptly rather than letting it add pressure while you focus on the boss.
Dodge the leap and spin
- When Mimicron leaps, dodge sideways or move away to avoid the landing attack.
- During the spin, keep clear of walls and other arena geometry so you have room to move out of its path.
Match damage to his health bars
The Mobalytics guide describes Mimicron’s health sequence as a blue shield followed by yellow armor. It recommends Shock or Radiation against the shield, then Corrosive or Cryo against armor. Headshots are also recommended. This is guide advice, not a mechanic stated in official patch notes.
Big Encore and multiplayer notes
Gearbox’s April 9, 2026 minor update notes included Mimicron in the Weekly Big Encore Boss rotation at that time. That dated entry does not establish which boss is active on October 8, 2026; check the current in-game rotation rather than relying on the April listing. The April 9, 2026 update notes document that rotation.

The official December 11, 2025 major update notes, updated July 2, 2026, say the Mimicron fight no longer continues after a player fast-travels out of the arena during multiplayer. If someone leaves that way, do not assume the encounter will keep running. The major update notes contain the multiplayer change.

Mimicron is a reported source for the Complex Root, but the available guide does not establish a current drop rate or a reliable repeat-kill reset sequence. It also does not provide a verified comparison of Mimicron’s clear time against other possible sources. If you are targeting the rifle, the practical choice depends on whether you can reach and clear this encounter efficiently; the reported loot association alone cannot tell you how many runs to expect.
