Which Borderlands 4 interactive maps can you use?
Game8’s Borderlands 4 interactive map presents Kairos locations, collectibles, and points of interest. Its guide notes that main-mission progress is needed to unlock some areas.
Map Genie’s Kairos map is another option organized around locations and collectibles. The available descriptions do not confirm that either service currently covers every region, marker category, or post-launch addition.
How to choose a map for what you’re hunting
Before relying on a map, check the live version for the specific region and task you have in mind. Look for:

- Region coverage: Does it include the zone you want to explore, including any post-launch areas?
- Marker categories: Are the collectibles or points of interest you need shown?
- Tracking controls: Can you hide categories or mark locations as found? Confirm these controls on the live map rather than assuming they are available.
- Useful location detail: Does a marker provide enough information to find the item in the game, or will you need a separate guide?
Check for post-launch zones and changes
Map coverage can become outdated as Borderlands 4 receives new content. Gearbox Support’s March 26, 2026 Story Pack 1 notes identify The Whispering Glacier as a new zone with story missions, side missions, activities, and collectibles, including Dahl Caches. Check whether a third-party map has added that zone before using it to track its content.
Gearbox’s April 30, 2026 version 1.6 notes say collectible icons on the in-game map were made easier to see. That is a visibility improvement, not confirmation that the in-game map shows every collectible or point of interest.

What map progress means across characters
Gearbox says Shared Character Progression includes collectibles, activities, SDU points, and map progress. Players tracking completion across characters should therefore account for shared progress when deciding what remains to find.
