Yes. Clash Royale is officially playable on a Windows PC through Google Play Games. The PC version runs the Android game, supports mouse controls and optimized graphics, and can sync progress with mobile through Supercell ID. Supercell’s official PC route is Windows-only; it does not cover Mac or Linux.
How to play Clash Royale on a Windows PC

Download and install Google Play Games for PC from Google’s official instructions.

If the installer asks you to enable Windows Hypervisor Platform, turn it on and restart your computer. Google notes that some games may also need CPU virtualization enabled in your BIOS settings.

Open Google Play Games, find Clash Royale, and install it. The PC release is accessed through this app.

PC requirements and availability
Google’s platform-wide minimum requirements, listed on its requirements page accessed October 8, 2026, are:
- Windows 10 (version 2004) or later.
- An SSD with at least 10 GB of available storage.
- 8 GB of RAM.
- Intel UHD Graphics 630 or a comparable GPU.
- At least four physical CPU cores.
- A Windows administrator account and hardware virtualization enabled.
Google’s recommended performance column keeps the same operating system, storage, memory, and account/virtualization conditions, but recommends a gaming-class GPU such as an Nvidia GeForce MX450 and eight logical processor cores. Google also requires a personal Google Account and availability in a supported Play country or region. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee smooth performance in every game; Google says some titles may perform poorly on minimum-spec computers. Does Clash Royale work on Mac or Linux?
Supercell says Google Play Games on PC is for Windows, so its official PC release does not provide a Mac or Linux version. The supported route described by Supercell is the Windows app running the Android version of Clash Royale.
Can you use your mobile account on PC?
Yes. Supercell ID keeps progress across the PC and mobile versions, so you can use the same account on either device. However, launching the game on one device logs that account out of the other: you cannot play simultaneously on mobile and PC with the same account. Supercell says cross-platform play with other Supercell players is supported. Its account FAQ explains that progress is saved with Supercell ID on both platforms.

Google’s “Playable” badge means Google tested a game as stable at 30 FPS or higher and compatible with mouse and/or keyboard. That is a one-time test, not a guarantee for every PC or the latest game version. Check Clash Royale’s live listing in Google Play Games and the eligibility shown for your own PC before installing.
