LockerCodes shows a code as working with an October expiry window, but the page says it was last updated September 30. That information does not establish whether the code was newly posted after that date or remained valid on October 8. Treat it as a code to test, not a confirmed active offer. Gearbox warns that SHiFT codes can be time-sensitive and game-specific, and that expired codes may no longer work on the website or in-game. An old list or search snippet is not proof that a code is redeemable today. Gearbox’s SHiFT code redemption guide

How to redeem a Borderlands 4 SHiFT code
- Sign in to your SHiFT account on the Gearbox SHiFT website and open the Rewards tab.
- Enter the code and select Check. Gearbox says an invalid or expired code produces an error banner.
- If the system lists eligible games and platforms, select the Borderlands 4 platform where you want the reward.
- Confirm the redemption. Look for the message “Your code was successfully redeemed,” then collect the reward in-game.
Gearbox’s example terms for a Borderlands 4 code require a copy of the game, a SHiFT account, and an internet connection. The five-key example in that update expired April 30, 2026, so it is not an active code. Gearbox’s five-key code example and terms
A September 30 secondary guide also reports an in-game route through Borderlands 4’s SHiFT menu under Rewards. Menu labels can change with game updates; if that path differs in your version, use the official website flow above. Golden Keys open Golden Chests for loot, while cosmetic codes grant appearance items rather than keys. GameSpot’s Borderlands 4 code guide
