To solve the Bowsprit Cape cube puzzle in Crimson Desert, install four power cells: three rectangular cells and one square cell floating above the structure. Once all four are seated, stay inside as the structure rises and rotates. If it stops partway up, a cell has likely slipped out of place; reconnect it and secure it in its slot.
Where to find the Bowsprit Cape cube
The cube is near Bowsprit Cape Hollow in southeast Hernand, south of the Bay of Abundance. Use the large fallen Abyss structure near the cave and coastal terrain as your landmark; descriptions of the precise map position vary between walkthroughs.

You can approach the structure directly from the peninsula. An alternate route described by guides goes through Jijeong Temple Pagoda and the Inner Self quest chain to Ascetic’s Rest, then uses its teleporter. These are access options, not different puzzle solutions. GamingProMax and PowerPyx describe the location and routes.
How to power the cube
The structure has four slots: three rectangular slots for rectangular cells and one square slot for the square cell overhead. Use Axiom Force to move each cell into its matching opening; if a cell does not stay in place, use the game’s securing force skill to seat it.

Place the first two rectangular cells
- Enter the chamber and locate the two rectangular cells floating inside.
- Connect to each with Axiom Force and guide it into an open rectangular slot.
- Secure each cell if necessary before moving on.
Bring in the third rectangular cell
- Look through the broken wall for the third rectangular cell floating outside.
- Step out, connect to it with Axiom Force, and bring it back through the opening.
- Guide it into the remaining rectangular slot and secure it.
Retrieve and install the square cell
- Look high above the structure for the square cell.
- Start from nearby elevated ground to gain height, then use Aerial Force Palm and glide with Crow Wings while connecting to the cell with Axiom Force.
- Bring the cell down and into the chamber, then fit it into the remaining square slot.
- If it needs an extra push to seat, one walkthrough recommends standing on the cell and using a downward Aerial Force Palm. GAMES.GG covers the aerial retrieval and installation.
Ride the structure and recover if it stops
Once all four cells are installed, remain inside as the structure rises and rotates. Keep away from holes and broken openings so you do not fall out during the ascent.
If the structure pauses before reaching the top, check for a cell that has slipped loose. Use Axiom Force to reconnect to it, return it to its slot, and secure it again; the ascent should continue once the cell is seated. VULKK describes this mid-ascent recovery.

Skills and access: what is recommended versus required
The main execution challenge is reaching the square cell overhead. A raised starting point, aerial movement, and Axiom Force make the approach easier. One walkthrough also recommends Force Palm level 3, Force Current, Double Jump, Axiom Force level 2, Flight level 2, and Aerial Roll for the broader puzzle chain, but presents these as advice rather than hard requirements. Controls and skill availability may vary by platform or game version, so treat that list as a suggested setup, not a gate to solving this cube. PowerPyx lists those recommendations.

Completing the ascent advances you to the Path of Serpents area in the Abyss. One walkthrough calls the landing area Snakehead Valley; the guides differ in that location label, so Path of Serpents is the more consistent destination name. GamingProMax discusses the destination terminology.
