Brave Dungeon + Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT arrives on PlayStation 5 on October 24, 2026. Inside System is developing and publishing the two-game collection, which can already be wish-listed on the PlayStation Store. The package combines a party-based dungeon RPG with a turn-based, deck-building card battler based on The Legend of Dark Witch.
What is included in the PS5 collection?
The collection contains two separate games with different structures, progression systems and combat rules:

| Game | Core loop | Progression | Solo structure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brave Dungeon | Explore labyrinths, fight enemies and gather resources | Crafting, party customization and class changes | Open-ended dungeon challenges and optional completionist goals |
| Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT | Play turn-based, one-on-one card duels within best-of-three matches | XP, medals, ranks, skills and character growth | 45-quest Quest Mode, replayable scenes and special Final battles |
Both games use the Syega Crystal concept, but they apply it differently: Brave Dungeon’s adventuring revolves around Magic Items powered by Syega Crystals, while COMBAT uses the crystals to power effects on cards called medals.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
How its progression works
- Gather materials: Enemies and treasure chests provide materials used for item crafting.
- Customize the party: Distinct playable characters give the party different approaches to combat and exploration.
- Change classes: Class changes let players reshape characters as their needs evolve instead of locking the party into its initial roles.
- Choose your challenge: The developer describes the combat as easy to learn while pairing it with extensive customization and optional content aimed at completionists.
The result is a conventional dungeon-RPG loop with a flexible build layer: explore, collect, craft, adjust classes and return to harder areas with a stronger party.
Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT turns the series into a card battler
COMBAT rebuilds characters and creatures from The Legend of Dark Witch as a turn-based, deck-building game. You select a team of three from more than 40 characters, then compete in best-of-three matches. Each round is a one-on-one duel, so the team choice matters across the entire match rather than only in a single simultaneous battle.

What happens during a turn
- Support phase: Set up effects that influence the duel and prepare the conditions for your main play.
- Main phase: Use medals from your deck to attack, heal, strengthen allies, weaken opponents or trigger other effects.
- Resolve the matchup: Attribute advantages, character roles, Team Links and signature medals determine which plays are most effective.
Every deck contains 12 medals. The medals provide the practical toolkit for a match, including attacks, healing, buffs, debuffs and other effects powered by Syega Crystals. Attribute matchups add a counter system, while role effects and Team Links reward players for assembling combinations rather than simply choosing the strongest individual character. Signature medals give particular characters an additional identity within a deck.

Is there a physical PS5 edition?
A physical PS5 release has not been established in the announcement information. The confirmed PS5 route is the PlayStation Store listing and its wishlist function. Until Inside System or a PlayStation retail listing provides packaging, a disc edition, regional availability or a price, buyers should not assume that a boxed copy will be offered.

- Choose Brave Dungeon if you want labyrinth exploration, resource gathering, crafting, class changes and party-based progression.
- Choose Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT if you prefer short, rules-driven card matches, team synergy, attribute counters and a defined 45-quest campaign.
- Try both if you want two contrasting RPG formats in one purchase: one built around navigating spaces and improving equipment, the other around constructing a 12-medal deck and managing best-of-three duels.
Because the collection bundles both games, its main appeal is variety rather than a shared campaign. Brave Dungeon supplies the exploratory adventure, while COMBAT supplies repeatable tactical matches and a card-collection progression loop.
