You start it by collecting Pohl’s Letter in the Nazi Vehicle Garage, find a second clue on a bunk in the eastern living tent, and follow its landmark hint to a locked container on the road between the Great Sphinx and the Tomb of Khentkawes. The code is 0926. Once the container opens, explosives go off, so move away from it immediately.
Walkthrough: from the first note to the container
- Start the mystery. Enter the restricted Nazi Vehicle Garage in Gizeh. Take Pohl’s Letter from the Communication Station tent near the south entrance; PowerPyx places it on the table beside the radio. Picking up this note starts the quest. (Source: PowerPyx’s Bright Future walkthrough.)
- Search the bunk for the second clue. Go to the eastern Wohnräume (living quarters) tent and take the Nazi Note from one of the beds. This note points you to the stash and gives you the combination. (Sources: PowerPyx; Game8’s Bright Future puzzle guide.)
- Decode the landmark hint. The note’s “Cat” refers to the Great Sphinx and its “Queen” refers to the Tomb of Khentkawes. Search the road between those two landmarks, near a truck and Professor Omar’s research area.
- Open the container and step back. Enter 0926. The container is trapped: explosives ignite as soon as it opens, so retreat at once to avoid the blast.
Reading the clues
Both notes are needed, and each does a different job. The table below summarises what each one tells you.

Finding the container
The hint sends you to a road, not a building. Use two visual cues: the Great Sphinx and the Tomb of Khentkawes at either end of the route, and the truck and Professor Omar’s research area along the road. Walkthroughs do not agree on the exact spot, so if the first place you check is empty, scan the area around the truck and the road rather than a single point.
Guides refer to the object variously as a foot locker, chest, crate, lockbox, or safe. The game’s wording may differ by version, so look for a locked container that matches the description above.

Opening the container safely
- Code: 0926.
- Hazard: explosives ignite when the container opens. Several guides describe this as a trap, so step away immediately after entering the code.
- Recovery: if you are caught in the blast, the guides do not describe a specific fix beyond reloading or retrying the area, so avoiding it is the safer plan.
Reward
PowerPyx lists the reward for completing Bright Future as 225 Adventure Points. That figure comes from PowerPyx alone; the other walkthroughs confirm that the quest can be completed but do not state the reward. Treat the number as one guide’s report rather than an official figure.

The walkthroughs were published or last updated between late 2024 and mid-2025: Game8’s Bright Future guide was updated on December 15, 2024, and PowerPyx’s walkthrough is dated June 26, 2025. Each guide was written against the game as it stood then. Later patches can move objects or change text, so if a step does not match what you see, check the official game for changes. No official developer or publisher quest guide was found for this mystery, so these walkthroughs are the best available reference.
