Revolution’s official Reforged page links a community walkthrough by Meg Pelliccio at TheGamer, alongside a full playthrough by Full Playthroughs and a Steam achievement guide by F.o.B. The developer identifies the walkthrough as being for Reforged; use that edition-specific route when you need exact sequence and puzzle instructions. The linked playthrough can help clarify what to do when written directions are ambiguous, while the achievement guide is aimed at achievement-related questions.

Choose the assistance mode that matches your game
Reforged offers classic point-and-click play. Revolution founder and CEO Charles Cecil described a choice between “the traditional approach and a new story mode.” The game’s assistance presentation may therefore differ by mode; check which one you selected before following directions that refer to hints or other interface assistance. Cecil’s launch statement confirms the two approaches, but does not establish a different puzzle route for each.

What is known about Reforged’s presentation?
Revolution describes Reforged as a return to the classic adventure with 4K visuals and remastered audio. In its 2024 account, Cecil said the remake included over 100 backgrounds and 30,000 sprites (animation frames), and described the redraw as having over 50 times the resolution of the original PlayStation version. That resolution comparison is specifically to the PlayStation release, not every version of the 1996 game.

Revolution’s page links storefronts for Steam, GOG, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and lists requirements for Windows, Linux/SteamOS, and macOS. It also states that the game is Steam Deck Verified. Store availability and regional editions can change, so use the storefront for your platform and location to confirm what is currently offered.

Nintendo’s US listing describes the Switch release as digital, released October 31, 2024, with TV, tabletop, and handheld play, touchscreen support, and one-player play. It lists a 2.9 GB file size for Switch and Switch 2 and says behavior on Switch 2 is consistent with Switch.
