Build A Rocket Boy announced on January 17, 2024, that it had closed an over-$110 million Series D led by RedBird Capital Partners. The company said it would use the funding to develop EVERYWHERE, the MindsEye game series and ARCADIA, its user-generated-content tools. That was the plan at the time—not proof that all three would launch as separate products.
There is an important current-status update: Build A Rocket Boy’s official homepage says joint administrators were appointed to Build a Rocket Boy Ltd. on September 23, 2026, and Build a Rocket Boy Games Ltd. on October 2, 2026. The notice says the administrators manage the companies’ affairs, business and property; it does not establish the future of any individual game or service.
What happened to EVERYWHERE?
The 2024 announcement described EVERYWHERE as an open-world, multi-world entertainment platform intended to bring together single-player and multiplayer experiences with tools for user-generated content. Those were Build A Rocket Boy’s descriptions of its project, not independent assessments of its features or proof of release. The funding announcement presented EVERYWHERE, MindsEye and ARCADIA as three flagship initiatives.
That arrangement changed. In a June 2, 2025 response reported by VGC, the company said: “Everywhere will be coming back and is not abandoned, we’re temporarily taking it dark as we focus on launching MindsEye and upgrading Everywhere’s codebase to align with MindsEye’s,” The statement records the company’s position then; it is not confirmation that EVERYWHERE later returned or is currently available. VGC’s report also described a June 10, 2025 release plan for MindsEye on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. That dated plan should not be read as a current availability check.

What did the over-$110 million fund?
Build A Rocket Boy said the Series D would support development and launches for EVERYWHERE, MindsEye and ARCADIA. RedBird Capital Partners led the round; the company also named Galaxy Interactive, NetEase Games, Endeavor, Alignment Growth, Woodline Partners LP and GTAM Partners as supporters.
The amount is the company’s wording in its January 17, 2024 announcement: over $110 million. It is a reported financing amount, not a company valuation, revenue figure or evidence that the planned products succeeded commercially. Founder and Chairman Leslie Benzies framed the creator-focused ambition this way: “We believe in a future where game creation is put in the hands of the players, and we will empower them with the tools to help shape this vision with us.”

What was ARCADIA, and where did its tools go?
ARCADIA was announced as Build A Rocket Boy’s user-generated-content design toolkit. By May 2025, the company told VGC that Arcadia had evolved into the creation platform within MindsEye. In other words, the original announcement’s three initiatives did not remain three separate products in the same form: the Arcadia creation system became part of MindsEye, while EVERYWHERE was described as temporarily dark during codebase work.
Build A Rocket Boy’s Terms of Use, dated May 1, 2025, say the company owns and controls its builder tools and their parts and features, and direct users to separate EVERYWHERE Builder Terms for UGC rules. The terms give a general minimum age of 13 for Services and Games, while noting that some may have additional age restrictions; that baseline is not a complete age rating for every game or feature. Read the Terms of Use.

How the announced products and plans changed
| Initiative | Role in the January 2024 announcement | Later reported status |
|---|---|---|
| EVERYWHERE | Open-world entertainment platform with single-player, multiplayer and UGC tools, as described by the company. | On June 2, 2025, the company said it was temporarily taking the project dark while upgrading its codebase to align with MindsEye, and said it was not abandoned. The 2026 official homepage notice reports administration appointments but does not state the service’s individual status. |
| MindsEye | A game series named as one of the planned uses of the funding. | VGC reported a June 10, 2025 release plan for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The official homepage’s 2026 notice does not specify the game’s present availability or future. |
| ARCADIA | UGC design tools named as a separate flagship initiative. | By May 2025, the company described Arcadia’s creation system as the creation platform within MindsEye rather than a separate initiative in the original arrangement. |
What the 2026 administration notice establishes
As of October 8, 2026, Build A Rocket Boy’s official homepage reports joint administrators appointed to Build a Rocket Boy Ltd. on September 23, 2026, and Build a Rocket Boy Games Ltd. on October 2, 2026. It says the administrators manage the companies’ affairs, business and property. The notice establishes those appointments and their stated scope; it does not, by itself, say whether EVERYWHERE, MindsEye, ARCADIA-related tools or any associated service will continue, return or shut down.
That distinction matters when reading the original funding story: the $110-million-plus announcement documented an ambitious development plan in 2024, and company statements in 2025 described changes to that plan. Neither should be treated as a present-day product availability statement.
