What did the C. Viper teaser show?
The scene centers on C. Viper analyzing a hologram of M. Bison as she tries to determine what he will do next. Capcom’s EVO recap described her aim as stopping him before he could act on his plans. Capcom’s announcement, republished in the EVO 2025 recap, described the moment this way: “Watch as she analyses M. Bison’s hologram to determine his next move and stop him before he can get any evildoing started.”
The footage framed her return through Street Fighter 6’s World Tour story context. Capcom’s earlier announcement said the trailer featured C. Viper “in action in World Tour,” but the teaser was not presented as a detailed gameplay breakdown.
When and how was the teaser released?
Capcom said the teaser premiered ahead of the Street Fighter 6 Top 8 matches at EVO 2025. There was also an apparent early-posting wrinkle: Shacknews reported that the PlayStation YouTube channel made the video public hours before Top 8, then set it to private. The trailer was later presented before the matches; the available reporting does not establish whether the earlier posting was planned.

Where does C. Viper fit in Street Fighter 6 Year 3?
Capcom identified C. Viper as the second character in Street Fighter 6 Year 3. The August 4, 2025 announcement characterized the trailer as showing her “in action in World Tour.” The EVO teaser therefore served as an introduction to her role in the game’s Year 3 content, rather than a complete account of her moveset.
What release timing and access did Capcom announce?
Capcom’s August 4, 2025 announcement gave an Autumn 2025 release window. It said C. Viper would be included automatically for owners of the Year 3 Character Pass or Year 3 Ultimate Pass when she released; players could also acquire her individually with Fighter Coins. These were announced digital DLC options, not physical products. The announcement does not provide current prices.

The cited announcements establish the original window, but not an exact eventual release date or her present availability. Autumn 2025 should therefore be understood as the timing Capcom announced then, not confirmation of a current release status. The official announcement was syndicated on Steam on August 4, 2025.
