A report published by The Tech Game on August 7, 2024, said a Black Ops 6 alpha build from a jailbroken PlayStation 4 contained a 20-name multiplayer map list. It was an unverified leak report, not an official roster. Activision later confirmed 16 multiplayer maps for launch, so the leak should not be treated as proof that all 20 names were final or shipped.
What maps were on the reported Black Ops 6 leak list?
The Tech Game attributed this list to an alpha build shared online. These are the 20 names printed in its report, not a set independently confirmed by Activision:

That means Nuketown and Firing Range 2 were among the reported names. Labels such as “Hacienda (Alt)” and “Firing Range 2” look like they could refer to variants or working names, but the list alone cannot establish what those labels meant or whether the maps were approved for release. The Tech Game’s August 7, 2024 report is the source for the names and their claimed alpha-build origin.
How does the leak compare with Activision’s confirmed launch roster?
Activision later announced 16 confirmed multiplayer maps for launch, split into 12 brand-new Core 6v6 maps and four compact Strike maps. Strike maps could be played in Face Off 6v6 or 2v2 configurations. The publisher described the launch maps as small to medium-sized with traditional three-lane routes. That is Activision’s description, not an independent assessment.

The leak’s 20 reported names and Activision’s 16-map announcement refer to different evidence and points in development. The first is a secondary report about an alpha build; the second is the publisher’s confirmed launch roster. The 20 names therefore do not demonstrate that each was in the final game, and the difference in counts does not by itself show which reported names were changed, cut, or retained. See Activision’s Call of Duty: NEXT multiplayer announcement for its launch-map and beta details.
Were these maps available in the beta?
Not necessarily. Activision’s announcement distinguished maps available in the beta from maps reserved for launch, and its Black Ops 6 beta guide covers the beta as a separate phase. A name in the reported alpha list is not evidence that a map was playable in the beta; consult the publisher’s beta and launch information for availability.

What the leak does—and does not—establish
The report establishes that The Tech Game published a 20-name list and attributed it to a Black Ops 6 alpha build on a jailbroken PS4. The available reporting does not independently establish who supplied the list, the exact date of the build, or whether its names reflected internal plans that survived development. For confirmed launch-map information, Activision’s announcement is the authoritative source.
