When did Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 01 start?
Activision announced November 14, 2024, at 9 AM PT as the start of the Season 01 rollout across all platforms. The announcement was published on November 7, 2024, and described the release as including free and premium content. Read the official Season 01 announcement.
What came to Warzone at launch?
Season 01 introduced Area 99 as a new Resurgence map. Activision also said Urzikstan would be available at launch, with Rebirth Island returning shortly after. The announcement covered a broader rollout, including Warzone’s Black Ops 6 integration, a new dedicated interface, and integration of Black Ops 6 innovations and loadouts. It also detailed multiplayer maps and modes, Zombies content, weapons, and other seasonal offerings; those items were part of the announced content plan, not necessarily all available at the same moment.
