Activision’s official Black Ops 6 Season 02 patch notes do not list a download size by platform. To see how much your update needs, check the update prompt on your own console or PC launcher. The patch-notes page does document changes for Multiplayer, Zombies and global systems, across both the Season 02 launch and Season 02 Reloaded.
How large is the Black Ops 6 Season 2 update?
There is no verified, platform-by-platform Season 02 download-size table in Activision’s official patch notes. Check the amount displayed by your own game platform rather than relying on a single figure reported for other players. Activision’s installation guidance covers console and PC installation routes, but does not announce historical Season 02 patch sizes.

A storefront’s download amount is not necessarily the same as the free space needed to complete installation. When comparing amounts, note the platform and storefront, the date, which game content is installed, and whether the client is downloading a patch or reinstalling or verifying files. The official sources do not establish whether reported size differences come from those factors or from platform packaging.
What do the Season 02 patch notes cover?
The official page, credited to Treyarch, contains dated entries from January 31 through March 14, 2025. It groups changes into global updates, Multiplayer and Zombies, and distinguishes the Season 02 launch notes from Season 02 Reloaded. Read the dated entries as an evolving changelog, not as one update released on a single day.

Where to check your platform’s update prompt
Activision’s installation guide gives separate setup directions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox consoles, Battle.net, Steam and the Microsoft Store. Follow the instructions for the platform where your copy is installed; the title is listed for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC storefronts on Activision’s Black Ops 6 page.
The support guide was updated July 5, 2026, and says Black Ops 6 became a standalone title outside the Call of Duty experience. That current installation guidance can help with setup, but it does not provide a Season 02 download-size figure.
