For leveling Bunny in The First Descendant, focus on Electric area damage, Skill Power, and range, then add cooldown reduction as module capacity allows. Keep HP and DEF high enough to survive close-range fights, and use a dependable firearm against elites and bosses. The module setup below is a practical progression recommendation—not an officially endorsed or tested best build.
How to build Bunny for leveling
Bunny’s speed helps her move between objectives and apply repeated area damage to groups. Nexon’s official game guide describes her as suited to quickly completing Field Missions, and identifies weapons, Reactors, External Components, and Descendant modules as core growth systems. Build for efficient mission clears, not speed alone: damage uptime and staying alive both matter.
Prioritize Electric damage, Skill Power, and range
A May 20, 2026 progression guide from Position Is Everything recommends Electric Specialist and Technician for damage, plus Skill Expansion to extend coverage. These are third-party suggestions, not official Nexon recommendations or the result of a controlled comparison. Upgrade them as capacity allows, and check each module’s current in-game description before committing resources.
Add cooldown reduction when capacity permits
Nimble Fingers is the guide’s suggested cooldown option. More frequent skill use can help maintain area damage as you move through mission packs, but do not sacrifice so much damage or defense that you struggle to finish fights. The guide offers a progression loadout rather than numeric evidence that one module combination clears faster than another.
#1 Best Overall
Keep HP and DEF in the build
The suggested early-to-mid-game setup also includes Increased HP and Increased DEF. Bunny’s area damage can put her near enemies; if you are being downed, prioritize those defenses over extra ranks in a secondary damage or cooldown module. Fewer deaths can matter more to a mission’s overall pace than squeezing out additional damage.
Recommended early-to-mid-game module setup
| Module | Role in the progression setup |
|---|---|
| Electric Specialist | Electric damage |
| Technician | Skill damage |
| Skill Expansion | Skill range and coverage |
| Nimble Fingers | Cooldown reduction |
| Increased HP | Survivability |
| Increased DEF | Survivability |
This is a starting point, not a requirement to max every module at once. If capacity is tight, retain enough HP and DEF to avoid frequent knockdowns, then scale back lower-priority damage or cooldown ranks. Your available modules, equipment, capacity, and current content can change the right balance.
Use a firearm for tougher or unsafe targets
Keep a reliable firearm equipped for elites, bosses, and enemies that are inefficient or risky to handle with close-range area damage. Bunny’s mission-clearing strength does not make a gun unnecessary. Nexon’s September 2026 Patch 1.4.2 notes also revise the Boost Path: Ultimate Bunny Build Guide, including the Thunder Cage reward level and several equipment quest conditions. Those are progression-path changes, not proof that Thunder Cage or any particular module loadout is the best choice.
Reactor advice: verify the fit in game
The May 2026 third-party leveling guide recommends Electric and Singular bonuses and says mounting conditions should match the weapon you have equipped. The official materials cited here do not confirm that recommendation as a universal rule. Before choosing a Reactor, check Bunny’s current skill tags, the Reactor’s description, and its mounting conditions in game; do not assume a bonus applies simply because it sounds compatible.

Be careful before assigning a module socket type
Nexon Player Support says Descendants and Weapon Proficiency can reach level 40. Assigning a module socket type at level 40 resets that Descendant or weapon to level 1. Since this affects progression, consider the reset before assigning a socket type just to fit a leveling build. See Nexon’s level-cap and socket-assignment support article for the official explanation.

The setup is intended as practical early-to-mid-game guidance for clearing regular mission groups while managing survival and tougher targets. It is not a universal best build: performance depends on your progression stage, module capacity, available modules and gear, and the content you are playing. The recommended modules and Reactor bonuses come from a third-party guide; the official sources establish Bunny’s role and progression systems, not a tested ranking of builds.
