GameSpot estimates about five hours to finish with co-op partners and closer to six hours solo; your time can vary with difficulty, exploration, retries, and intel hunting. Endgame comes after those 11 missions and is a separate mode.
How long is the Black Ops 7 campaign?
GameSpot’s November 14, 2025 guide estimates roughly five hours for co-op and closer to six hours solo. These are editorial estimates, not fixed or controlled completion times. The game’s official campaign page says you can play solo or squad up, so the shorter co-op estimate is not a requirement to bring other players.
Other estimates illustrate how much playstyle can change the total: AllThings.How’s article, updated January 24, 2026, puts fast, objective-focused play at about four to five hours and a thorough run at roughly eight to nine hours. That longer estimate accounts for factors such as exploring and retrying encounters; it is not a guaranteed completion time.
These figures refer to the core story, not a single completionist total. GameSpot says collecting campaign intel adds time but does not give a total for finding everything. Endgame is also separate from the 11-mission campaign.

GameSpot’s guide lists one hidden intel item in each mission, for 11 total; finding all 11 is required for the Loremaster achievement or trophy. PCGamesN independently lists the same mission order. Intel hunting is optional if your aim is simply to finish the story.
What counts as the campaign—and where Endgame fits
Activision describes the campaign as a solo-or-squad co-op experience. Its premise follows David Mason and an elite JSOC team on a covert mission in Avalon in 2035.

Call of Duty Staff says Endgame unlocks after completion of the first 11 Co-Op Campaign missions. It is a replayable experience for 1–32 players, in squads of up to four, with progression and weapon leveling continuing there. Endgame is not a twelfth named campaign mission, so leave it out when estimating the time needed to complete the story.
