However, the available evidence supports demand and discussion, not direct causation. No named interview, announcement or official statement says that Activision or Infinity Ward added Modern Warfare II crossplay because of a specific fan campaign. How to play with a friend on another platform
- Confirm the versions. Ask whether your friend is on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X|S or PC. All are within the documented crossplay coverage, but the exact edition still matters for access and bonuses.
