GameSpot reported the offer on November 22, 2023. It was a historical price for one retailer and edition—not evidence of the same discount on other platforms or a current sale.

Yes. PlayStation’s official US Black Friday announcement pointed to a PS5 console bundle that included Modern Warfare III at participating retailers where available. This was a console-and-game bundle, not the same offer as Amazon’s standalone $60 game price; readers were directed to local retailers for availability and terms. - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - Cross-Gen Bundle
- Pre-Order and Receive Early access to the Open Beta*
- Some features may require an internet connection and an online subscription
Activision listed a suggested retail price of $69.99, or regional equivalent, for digital editions. Cross-Gen and Vault digital editions were available on applicable console and PC platforms, with market-dependent prices and availability. The documented $60 Black Friday price, however, applies only to the standard PS5 edition in GameSpot’s report; it should not be carried over to Cross-Gen, Vault, or another platform without separate evidence. That cannot be confirmed from the Xbox Wire sale catalogue. It lists a 50% discount for a title named “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” but the listing does not identify the 2023 release, and the catalogue includes older Call of Duty games. It is therefore not reliable evidence of a 50% discount on Modern Warfare III (2023). Xbox Wire’s sale catalogue
