Which Game Pass plans and platforms were included?
Activision’s Modern Warfare III Editions FAQ, updated October 1, 2024, says active Game Pass Console, Game Pass PC, and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have access to the standard edition. The announcement covered Xbox console and PC access; it does not mean the game is available through Game Pass on PlayStation.
Activision lists the game for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. On PC, the standard edition is offered through Microsoft Store, Battle.net, and Steam; Game Pass access is through Microsoft Store. A subscription does not grant access on every platform where the game is sold.

Does the 2024 announcement confirm it is still in the catalog?
No. The announcement confirms the 2024 addition, but it does not establish whether the game remains in the Game Pass catalog in every region today. Catalog availability can change, so check the Game Pass catalog for your region and platform before subscribing or planning a download.
What kind of game is Modern Warfare III?
Activision lists the release date as November 10, 2023 and describes Modern Warfare III as a first-person shooter with a campaign that includes open combat missions, multiplayer, and an open-world Zombies experience. The Game Pass addition came after the game’s original release.
