Activision announced that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile servers would go offline on April 17, 2026, after which the game would no longer be playable. That date has passed, but Activision’s February 16 service FAQ does not confirm that the shutdown was completed. The game was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store in May 2025, and Activision had already ended new seasonal content and gameplay updates.
When did Warzone Mobile shut down?
Activision’s February 16, 2026 service FAQ announced April 17, 2026 as the date the servers would go offline. It said the game would no longer be available to play afterward. The FAQ gives the planned date, but does not state that the shutdown was completed. So April 17 is the announced shutdown date; the cited notice alone does not establish the game’s current server status.
What changed before the announced shutdown?
- May 2025: Activision says the game was removed from Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
- May 19, 2025: This was the last day to make real-money purchases, according to Activision.
- Content and features: New seasonal content and gameplay updates had ended, and social features were discontinued.
- April 17, 2026: Activision’s announced final date for server access, play, and access to remaining COD Points.
What happened to COD Points and purchased content?
Activision said players with the game installed could use previously purchased content and redeem remaining COD Points for available in-game store content only until the announced April 17, 2026 shutdown date. That deadline has passed. The FAQ says refunds are not available for earlier in-game purchases or unused COD Points.
What happens to your account?
Activision says guest accounts used in Warzone Mobile would no longer be accessible through the game after the servers shut down. An Activision account would no longer be accessible through Warzone Mobile either, but would remain usable on Activision websites and in other titles that require an Activision account.
