When did Verdansk return to Warzone?
Activision scheduled Black Ops 6 Season 03 to launch April 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT. Warzone’s Verdansk update followed on April 3 at 9 a.m. PT, after a planned 24-hour period when Warzone was unavailable. These were the 2025 launch dates, not a current schedule. What changed in the returned Verdansk?
Activision characterized the map as “95% a rebuilt version of Verdansk in 2020,” with light adjustments and quality-of-life improvements affecting around five percent of the landscape. That percentage is the publisher’s description, not an independent measurement. The stated aim was to preserve the recognizable Battle Royale map while improving access, structures, draw distances, and details. Which Warzone modes and maps were announced?
The Season 03 guide listed Verdansk and Rebirth Island, with different formats and player counts. These are details from the season announcement; playlists can change over time.

Which weapons and rewards were tied to the return?
The launch announcements highlighted several weapons associated with Verdansk-era Warzone. The Kilo 141 was described as a Warzone login reward, while the CR-56 AMAX and HDR were listed as Battle Pass rewards. The season guide also named additional weapons arriving later in Season 03.

The return event was announced with 20 free rewards, including the Kilo 141 and other items. That was a historical event offer; the announcement does not establish that those rewards remain claimable. What was separate from Warzone’s launch?
The same Season 03 rollout included a 24-hour free trial for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies. That trial was separate from Warzone’s April 3 update and should not be confused with a Warzone trial or a current offer. Activision also described free and premium content across Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The official Verdansk article also mentioned a Call of Duty Shop collection of apparel, accessories, and collectibles. That establishes the collection as a historical official-store offering, not what is currently in stock or available through another retailer.
