“Call of Tibia” most clearly refers to a craftable tool in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree: it summons a spectral creature that attacks nearby enemies. To craft it, first obtain Tibia’s Cookbook by defeating the Tibia Mariner in Charo’s Hidden Grave, then gather the three listed materials. The name also appears in a 2013 forum thread about a separate Call of Duty-themed Tibia server project.
What is Call of Tibia?
In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Call of Tibia is a craftable tool that uses FP when thrown. Its in-game description says it summons “one lost in death” at the impact spot; the creature spins and strikes nearby foes three times before vanishing. The description also calls the item an ancient ceremonial tool using a grave keeper’s skull as a catalyst. Eldenpedia’s item entry reproduces the item text.
The expansion takes place in the Realm of Shadow and adds new threats and character customization, according to publisher KADOKAWA’s official expansion announcement. Call of Tibia is one of the craftable tools associated with that expansion.
How to get the Call of Tibia recipe
You need Tibia’s Cookbook to unlock the recipe. The cookbook entry says it records mariners’ crafting techniques and an ancient means of summoning the dead. Its listed source is the Tibia Mariner in Charo’s Hidden Grave. Eldenpedia’s cookbook entry gives the source and recipe.

Call of Tibia crafting ingredients
Once you have Tibia’s Cookbook, craft Call of Tibia with:
- 1 Grave Keeper’s Brainpan
- 3 Grave Crickets
- 1 Human Bone Shard
These quantities are the recipe listed in the cookbook reference. The source does not specify item weight, damage, range, or duration, so those values should not be assumed from the description alone.

There is also a historical xTibia forum thread titled “Call of Tibia.” Posted on July 11, 2013, it describes a proposed Call of Duty-themed Tibia server project, with weapons, grenades, vehicles, two teams, and team-specific quests. The post says recruitment was closed because of a lack of activity. It does not establish that the project was completed, released, or later revived. The original xTibia thread is evidence of the forum project, not proof of a currently playable game.

So, unless the surrounding context specifically concerns that forum project, the most useful meaning of Call of Tibia is the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree tool.
