You can awaken Dough through a raid in either the Second Sea or the Third Sea. The key distinction is that joining a Dough Raid is different from unlocking the ability to host one: the host unlock requires Third Sea progression. So a Second Sea player can awaken Dough by joining a raid started by someone who has unlocked it, though this is an inference from the listed raid locations and unlock mechanics rather than an explicit official guarantee.
Where can you join a Dough Raid?
Raid rooms are listed in both seas: Hot and Cold in the Second Sea, and Castle on the Sea in the Third Sea. At Hot and Cold, use the tower on the Cold side. The entrance is opened by entering Red, Blue, Green, Blue at the computer while carrying nothing in your hands. The raid guide lists level 700+ to join raids and 1,100+ to host them. Blox Fruits Wiki’s Raids guide describes these locations and requirements.
Joining a raid is not the same as unlocking hosting
The Second Sea raid room makes joining there possible, but the documented Dough Raid hosting unlock runs through Third Sea progression. The Dough guide lists this sequence:
- Obtain a God’s Chalice and 10 Conjured Cocoas, then trade them for a Sweet Chalice.
- Defeat 500 enemies at Cake Land and use the Sweet Chalice to summon Dough King through drip_mama.
- Deal at least 10% of Dough King’s total damage to earn the Red Key, then use it to unlock the door at Cake Castle.
- After unlocking Dough Raids, buy a Dough Raid Microchip to host a raid.
The Sweet Chalice is lost if its owner dies or disconnects before using it, so keep that player safe during the Cake Land and summoning steps. The guide lists the Microchip as costing 1,000 every two hours or a physical Blox Fruit worth at least 1,000,000. These are in-game mechanics and values. See the Blox Fruits Wiki Dough guide.

How to awaken Dough after the raid
- Join a Dough Raid hosted by a player who has unlocked it. If you are in the Second Sea, meet at the Hot and Cold raid room.
- Equip Dough for the raid.
- After completing the raid, enter the awakening room and speak to the Mysterious Entity.
- Spend Fragments to awaken a move. Each move is unlocked separately.
Full Dough awakening costs 18,500 Fragments: the six move costs are 500, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 4,000, and 5,000. The Mysterious Entity guide describes the awakening-room interaction; the costs are listed in the Dough guide.

You do not need to complete the Dough King unlock chain yourself just to awaken Dough. The practical route is to join a Dough Raid started by someone who has unlocked hosting. The sources list raid rooms in both seas and put the hosting unlock in the Third Sea, but do not state this Second Sea joining scenario as an official guarantee. The cited guides are community-maintained rather than official developer documentation.
