What the game’s 2021 sources say
The Monster Harvest FAQ on Steam answered whether romance is in the game with “Not currently.” In a separate discussion, a player asked about marriage, children, home customization, and extra farm buildings. A reply attributed to the account Danny_Merge and dated July 1, 2021, said: “You’ll be able to build your friendship with various NPCs to learn more about them and even unlock a few perks, but currently marriage and kids are not planned.”
That is evidence of what was planned and described in 2021, not confirmation of every later patch or platform version. The available sources do not verify a newer change to the relationship system.
Friendship is not marriage
Monster Harvest lets players build relationships with residents, but that does not mean the game includes dating, weddings, or spouses. Nintendo’s official Switch listing describes relationships with Planimal Point residents as a way to gain store discounts. It does not list romance or marriage as a feature.

What to expect from Monster Harvest
The game is presented as a single-player farming and Planimal-battling game with RPG elements. Its listed activities include farming, crafting, crop mutation, and battles. The Nintendo listing gives August 31, 2021 as the Switch release date and names Maple Powered Games as developer and Silver Lining as publisher. These gameplay features provide context, but they do not change the 2021 answer about marriage.
