No. Epic Games does not let you buy a Battle Pass gift voucher with V-Bucks. You can gift the pass through Fortnite’s in-game gift flow using the checkout payment option, or give the player a prepaid card or account funds to spend themselves.
How to gift the Battle Pass
Epic Games Support says the voucher must be purchased in-game: “You cannot obtain the voucher with V-Bucks.” Start in Fortnite and use the Passes tab to send the gift.

Requirements and limits
Epic’s general Fortnite gifting rules apply to Battle Pass gifts. Make sure these conditions are met before sending:
#1 Best Overall
- Redeemable on accounts in the United States and in U.S. Dollars.
- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
- The sender must have two-factor authentication enabled and be at least level 2.
- The recipient must have been on the sender’s Friends list for at least two days.
- Pass gifting is disabled toward the end of a season, so the option may not be available then.
- The recipient must log in to receive the gift and cannot have a negative V-Bucks balance.
- Epic limits gifting to five gifts per 24 hours, measured from the time each gift is sent.
See Epic’s Fortnite gifting rules for its general requirements. Epic also says Battle Pass Levels, V-Bucks, Fortnite packs containing V-Bucks, and Event Passes cannot be gifted.
What you can give instead
If you want the other player to choose how to spend the value, a prepaid card is a separate option; it does not send the Battle Pass directly.

V-Bucks card
Epic says you can buy a physical V-Bucks card from a participating retailer and give it to the player to redeem. V-Bucks cards may still be sold by some local retailers or in some regions during the changeover, but Epic says Fortnite Gift Cards are replacing them. A V-Bucks card adds V-Bucks, not general Epic account funds. Check Epic’s V-Bucks card redemption instructions for details.
Fortnite Gift Card
A Fortnite Gift Card adds funds to the recipient’s Epic account balance. Those funds can be used for eligible purchases in the Epic Games Store or in Fortnite on mobile or PC, including V-Bucks or DLC. V-Bucks bought with Epic account balance are available on other platforms except Nintendo, which does not support Fortnite Shared Wallet. Availability and redemption conditions can vary by region; see Epic’s Fortnite Gift Card purchase guidance.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Neither card changes the rule for directly gifting the Battle Pass: the pass gift voucher cannot be obtained with V-Bucks.
