Yes—if you mean Ryujinx’s separate log/console window, the emulator has had a “Show Log Console” control on Windows. The exact menu location in the current build is not confirmed, so check the menus or settings in your installed version. If you mean the game interface, F4 does the opposite of hiding it: it unhides the UI.
First, identify which “console” you mean
Ryujinx users may mean either the game UI or a separate window showing log output. These are different things, and the available controls are not interchangeable.
- Game UI: the in-game interface. Ryujinx’s FAQ says, “F4 unhides the UI. It doesn’t hide it so as to avoid accidents.” F4 is therefore not a shortcut for hiding the log window.
- Log/console window: a separate window associated with emulator output. A historical Ryujinx code change added a “Show Log Console” control and identified it as Windows-only. That establishes that the control existed, but not where it appears in the latest build. See the historical code change.
How to look for the log-window control
On Windows, inspect the menus and settings in your installed Ryujinx build for “Show Log Console” or a similarly named visibility control. The current official FAQ and setup guide do not confirm its exact current menu path, so a specific click-by-click route cannot be given reliably.
The historical Windows-only note is not evidence that the same control exists or behaves identically on Linux or macOS. Ryujinx’s download page lists packages for Windows, Linux, and macOS; platform availability alone does not establish identical console-window settings.

If the window is a command prompt
The Ryujinx setup guide notes that launching the emulator from a command prompt makes that command prompt the console window. If that is the window you want to remove, first consider whether you are starting Ryujinx from a terminal or command prompt; the guide’s statement describes that launch behavior, not a universal method for hiding a console window across operating systems.
What to include when asking for help
If you cannot find a visibility control, specify your operating system and Ryujinx version, and describe whether the window is a separate log window, a command prompt or terminal, or the game UI. The current official documentation cited above does not establish the present menu location or behavior for every platform.
