Roblox’s official help pages do not document a setting to hide your friends list. You can limit who sees when you are online or which experience you are playing, but those controls do not conceal your friends list. To remove a specific connection, you can unfriend that person.
What Roblox privacy settings can and cannot hide
Roblox provides separate controls for online status, current-experience visibility and activity updates. These affect what others can see about your activity; they are not a friends-list privacy setting. The available audiences and options may vary by age and region, so use the choices shown in your account. Roblox Support explains Online Status and Visibility.

How to limit who sees your online status or current experience
- Open Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon at the top right. On mobile, select More at the bottom right, then Settings.
- Go to Privacy & content restrictions → Visibility & private servers → Visibility.
- Under Online Status, choose the audience you prefer.
- Under Show current experience, choose the audience you prefer.
Roblox says people outside your selected audience will see you as offline on your profile or their Friends list, and will not see the experience you are playing. These visibility choices do not hide your friends list.
How to turn off recent activity updates
In the visibility settings, use the Share activity updates selector to turn off updates about recent in-experience activity. This controls activity sharing, not whether other users can see your friends list.

How to remove a friend
Roblox says an added friend appears in the Friends section. Removing a friend ends that connection and removes that person from your list; it does not hide the remaining list. See Roblox’s guidance on making friends.
Managing a child’s friends
A parent can manage a child’s friends through Settings → Parental Controls → Friends → Manage. Roblox says parents can review, report or block a friend there. Blocking prevents that user from directly chatting with the child or adding the child as a friend again without permission. This parental control is not a setting to hide the child’s friends list from other users. See Roblox’s instructions for managing a child’s friends.

What the Trusted friends filter does
The Trusted option in the Friends tab filters your view to trusted friends. It changes which friends you are viewing; it does not hide the full friends list from other people. Details are in Roblox’s Trusted Friends guidance.
