For POP MART blind boxes, the company describes the contents as a surprise and does not say that a barcode, box marking, weight, or other outside clue identifies the concealed figure.
What the packaging can tell you
A box may identify its series and show the regular designs available in that lineup. That helps you understand which figures belong to the collection, but it does not show which one is in an individual sealed box. POP MART defines a blind box as packaging that keeps the collectible a mystery until opening, and its product listings can display the series’ regular designs. POP MART’s FAQs and its THE MONSTERS COCA-COLA SERIES Vinyl Face Blind Box listing illustrate the distinction.

The product listing is specific to that series: it gives a release date of January 24, 2025, and lists the figure’s size as 15.5–17 cm (6.1–6.69 inches) and materials as polyester, ABS, PVC, and iron wire. Those details describe that product, not blind-box figures in general.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

Not on the evidence established for the POP MART example. Its official information explains the surprise format but does not validate any barcode, box code, weight, sound, or small packaging variation as a reliable way to identify the specific figure inside. Do not treat a collector anecdote or third-party code list as dependable unless it is supported by authoritative, series-specific information.

A useful test for any proposed clue is to ask what it actually establishes: the series, the package’s authenticity, or the exact contents. A clue that answers one of the first two questions does not automatically answer the third.
What can you know about regular and secret figures?
POP MART’s FAQ says buyers cannot request a specific figurine from a blind-box series. Its product page explains that a secret figure may randomly replace a regular figure and is usually not included in the standard 12-box set. POP MART Australia also says buying a set of 12 does not guarantee a secret figure. These are company statements about its products and may depend on the series and market; check the exact listing rather than assuming the same rules apply to every blind-box collection. Does the authenticity code identify what is inside?
No. POP MART’s authenticity check uses a code revealed by scratching the coating on the Box Label Code. You then visit the company’s Authenticity Check page and enter that code. The page describes verification results, including a genuine first scan, multiple scans, and a scan-count limit. It does not say the code identifies the concealed figure, so a successful check should not be treated as proof of which design is inside.

How to assess a packaging clue
- Read the series information. Use the box and official product listing to identify the collection and see its regular lineup.
- Check what the clue claims to prove. A series name or authenticity result is not an identification of the specific figure inside.
- Look for exact-series, authoritative support. Unless the manufacturer or another reliable source confirms that a particular marking identifies the contents for that series, treat the claim as unverified.
- Keep the package sealed if you want to preserve the surprise. The official authenticity procedure requires scratching the label coating, but it checks authenticity and scan status—not figure identity.
