No mobile mod-installation method is documented in the official MudRunner Mobile listings reviewed. The Steam Workshop and manual file-copy instructions you may find online are for desktop versions, not Android or iPhone/iPad. The listings do not explicitly say mobile mods are permanently prohibited, so the accurate answer is that a supported mobile procedure has not been established.
Can you install mods in MudRunner Mobile?
Neither the Google Play listing nor the US Apple App Store listing provides instructions for installing mods. Those listings also do not explicitly declare a permanent no-mod policy. Why PC mod instructions do not apply to Android or iPhone

Steam subscriptions, archive extraction, and copying files into a game directory all depend on the relevant desktop edition and its file structure. They do not show that PC mods can be installed in the mobile app or that a PC mod will run there.

What to do if you want more content on mobile
- Use the official app from Google Play or Apple’s App Store and check its listing for updates or publisher-provided information.
- Do not install third-party APKs, modified app packages, or PC mod tools as a supposed official mobile mod process. No official mobile procedure is documented by the listings cited above.
- If you specifically want community mods, consider the desktop edition and follow instructions written for that storefront and game build. Steam Workshop directions apply to Steam PC; manual and EGS guides are also desktop-specific.
What content does the mobile listing describe?
Focus Entertainment’s Google Play listing, shown as updated April 28, 2026, describes 15 open-world maps—six sandbox and nine challenge maps—and 16 vehicles. The US Apple App Store listing also describes 15 maps and 16 vehicles. These are publisher listing figures, not independently verified counts, and they do not indicate that additional mods can be added.
Controller support is separate from mods
Apple’s listing version history includes a game-controller-support note. That concerns input, not extra game content or a mod-installation option. The Google Play listing does not enumerate officially compatible controller models; an individual player report is not an official compatibility guarantee.
