Hello Games’ Next update page says: “Play as a Gek, Vy’keen, Korvax or Traveller / Anomaly.” Human is not among the options named there. The wording also does not explain whether Traveller/Anomaly is intended to be human, so it is best not to treat that interpretation as established lore.

Does the Skyborn Exosuit let you play as a human?
No. Hello Games’ Voyagers Update 6.0 page describes the Skyborn Exosuit as a five-piece set—armour, gloves, boots, legs, and torso customisations—that can be applied to any alien race and mixed with existing customisations. That is information about outfits, not evidence of a human species option or a definition of Traveller/Anomaly.
