Yes. Peach is one of the starting playable characters in Super Mario 3D World. In the Nintendo Switch release, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, she can briefly float when you hold the jump button.
How to choose Peach
On Nintendo Switch, Peach is available from the start; you do not need to unlock her. At character selection, choose Peach before beginning a course. Nintendo lists Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad as the starting choices. Rosalina is an additional character you can unlock after meeting certain conditions.

What Peach’s ability does

Peach on Wii U and Nintendo Switch
Peach is playable in the original Wii U Super Mario 3D World as well as the Switch edition, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. The Wii U electronic manual documents character selection and assigning one controller to each player. Nintendo describes local and online co-op as additions for the Switch release, so do not assume every multiplayer option is available on both versions.
Playing with other people on Switch
Nintendo lists support for up to four players on Switch, with local play on one system, local wireless play and online play with friends. Online play requires Nintendo Switch Online, subject to Nintendo’s service terms and regional availability. Some multiplayer setups may also require additional systems or accessories; check Nintendo’s current requirements for your region and chosen mode.

Do you need a Cat Peach amiibo?
No. Peach is a starting playable character, and Nintendo does not say an amiibo is required to select her. A Cat Peach amiibo is optional: Nintendo says it can provide a random power-up in the Switch game, and that amiibo are sold separately.
