No. PlayStation’s official store listing identifies ASTRO BOT as a PS5 game and calls it “exclusive to PS5 consoles!” The game was released on September 6, 2024. This answer concerns that 2024 release, not other games featuring Astro.

What do you need to play Astro Bot?
A PS5 is the relevant console for playing the game. PlayStation’s listing also notes cloud streaming on PS5 and PS Portal with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription. It does not list PS4 as a supported platform or streaming endpoint, so that streaming option is not a way to play the game on a PS4.
PlayStation’s Astro Bot support page does not identify a PS4 edition. The original announcement by Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet likewise described the game as coming to PS5 and gave its September 6, 2024 release date (PlayStation Blog, May 30, 2024).

Can a PS4 controller, Remote Play, or an adapter help?
No. PlayStation’s platform listing does not offer a PS4 version, and the listed PS5/PS Portal cloud-streaming support does not establish PS4 support. A controller, adapter, or other PS4 accessory does not change the game’s platform requirement.
