No. There is no PSP edition of God of War III, and Sony lists the original game for PlayStation 3 and the remaster for PlayStation 4—not PSP. A PSP’s Remote Play feature is limited to supported PS3 games, and Sony’s documentation does not establish that God of War III is one of them.
Why God of War III does not run on PSP
Sony identifies God of War III as originally developed exclusively for PS3. The later God of War III Remastered is a PS4 release. Sony’s product page does not list a PSP version, so neither console edition can be treated as a PSP game. Sony’s God of War III Remastered page also gives the remaster’s release date as July 14, 2015.
Could PSP Remote Play work with the PS3 version?
PSP Remote Play is a feature for connecting to a PS3 over wireless LAN; it is not general compatibility with every PS3 game. Sony’s PS3 system documentation requires PSP system software version 3.72 or later and warns that “some games support remote play.” It does not name God of War III as a supported title, so there is no official basis to promise that the game can be streamed to a PSP this way. Sony’s PS3 Remote Play documentation explains the feature and its limits.
Can a PSP use PS4 Remote Play for the remaster?
No. Sony’s PS4 guide lists supported Remote Play device categories such as PS Vita, PlayStation TV, PC/Mac, Xperia devices, iPhone, and iPad; it does not list PSP. Sony’s current Remote Play page describes streaming PS4 and PS5 games to supported devices, but does not identify PSP as a client. PS4 Remote Play device guide · PlayStation Remote Play
