Yes—but only selected Lost Ark endgame raids have an official Solo Mode. It is not a setting that lets you solo every Legion Raid, and the roster has expanded over time. Solo Mode also shares entry counts and gate progress with other difficulties, so choosing it affects how you can finish that raid for the same run.
Which Lost Ark raids can you play solo?
Amazon Games introduced Solo Mode in July 2024 for selected endgame content, beginning with the Valtan Legion Raid and continuing through the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon. The roster later expanded to include Thaemine and Echidna, then Kazeros Raid Act 4 and Denouement: The Final Day. The official updates do not describe Solo Mode as a universal option for every raid. See the July 2024 release notes, December 2024 release notes and July 2026 release notes.
For the newest entries, the July 2026 notes give these minimum item levels:
| Solo Mode content | Stated item-level requirement |
|---|---|
| Kazeros Raid Act 4: Fortress of Destruction | 1700 or higher |
| Kazeros Raid Denouement: The Final Day | 1710 or higher |
These requirements are for those 2026 additions, not a complete current item-level list for every Solo Mode activity. Entry requirements and the roster can change with patches, so check the in-game entry screen and the latest official release notes before planning around a specific raid.

What changes when you choose Solo Mode?
Combat support and raid practice
Solo Mode is designed for individual play, with support effects intended to help a solo character handle raid encounters. The original mode uses the Scale of Fate support-buff system. When Thaemine and Echidna were added in December 2024, Amazon Games also introduced Destined Protection: buffs earned after certain important patterns. Up to three protections can be earned per gate, and they do not carry over to the next gate. Details may differ by raid and update.
The point is not simply to enter a group raid alone with no adjustments. Solo Mode provides a distinct supported experience, letting players learn or clear selected content without assembling a party.

Gold and other rewards
The original Solo Mode description says gold is lower than in Normal, while other rewards match Normal except for specified exclusions. It names honor rewards such as Brelshaza’s Falling Horn of Indulgence and Sidereal Energies as unavailable. The 2026 rules add another important distinction: half of Solo gate gold is Character-Bound Gold, so displayed gold is not all roster-transferable.
Solo rewards are patch-sensitive. For example, the September 2026 Dimensions Unbound release notes adjusted Solo gold for the two Kazeros additions:

- Uncover a dark secret on a drifting ship
- Play again and again - items change position every time you play!
- Solve perplexing puzzles to unlock even more secrets
- Use letters and log entries to discover the fate of the lost crew
- Collect special items and display them in your own collection room
| Solo content and gate | Gold before September 2026 adjustment | Gold after adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Act 4, Gate 1 | 12,500 | 10,000 |
| Act 4, Gate 2 | 20,500 | 17,000 |
| Denouement, Gate 1 | 14,000 | 11,000 |
| Denouement, Gate 2 | 26,000 | 21,000 |
These are the amounts specified in that September 2026 adjustment, not a promise that the same rewards remain live. The July 2024 notes also described item-level thresholds above which players would not receive gold or full progression materials; their listed thresholds are historical and should not be treated as current without a newer confirmation.
Does Solo Mode share lockouts with group raids?
Yes. For supported content, Solo, Normal and Hard share entry counts and gate progress. Clearing the first gate in Solo locks the remaining gates for that run to Solo; you cannot switch those later gates to Normal or Hard. The 2026 rules also say the End Content gold-reward limit and free bonus-reward count are shared.

Is Serca a solo Legion Raid?
No. Serca has a separate reduced-difficulty Shadow Raid matchmaking mode; it is not evidence that every raid has Solo Mode. The July 2026 notes say it can be entered by one player or a premade group of two to three, with dynamic combat scaling. Its stated entry requirement is item level 1710, the same as Normal. Special rules include unlimited resurrections and no raid wipe if all members die, subject to the conditions in the official Serca matchmaking notes.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to check whether a raid is soloable now
Because the supported roster, entry levels and rewards can change, use the in-game end-content entry screen as the final check. Confirm that the specific raid offers Solo Mode, verify its item-level requirement, and review the reward and gate details before entering. The official release history is useful for tracking additions, but older thresholds and reward descriptions may no longer apply.
